Nancy Poole

Nancy Poole (aka Nance) is a E-RYT200, RPYT, & YACEP, Chair Yoga certified, and entrepreneur. She teaches uplifting and supportive yoga with the hottest playlists to match the tempo / pace of the practice making her classes lighthearted and fun. Nance teaches all levels of Hatha Yoga from Beginner-to-Advanced students. She also guides Prenatal & Postpartum Yoga, Power Vinyasa, Meditation, Sound Baths, Canna-Infused Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Restorative Yoga on top of a variety of asana and wellness workshops and retreats to incorporate alignment, flexibility, strength, and—most importantly—mindfulness with self-healing.

Nance never forgets her humble beginnings. To survive, her parents were plucked from their home country and had to "start over" in the aftermaths of the Vietnam War. As a young girl, the adversities Nance and her family faced instilled a strong sense of purpose to help those who cannot help themselves. When Nance graduated from UCLA and then obtained her pre-medicine post-bacc at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine & Science, she believed she found a passion in healthcare operations as she climbed the corporate ladder to build over a decade of experience. However, she was still feeling unsettled. Nance began to reflect on the time she discovered yoga in 2006 as a form of healing against bullying, low self-esteem, stress, and depression. In 2020, she rediscovered her practice and truly found her love for adventure and community that stems back to her upbringing. With pure intentions in her heart, Nance left her corporate directorship to build The Holō Collective. She has created a safe and inspiring space for all to practice while building a strong sense of community that is void of any judgement.

Nance is constantly striving to cultivate a welcoming and authentic space, physically and mentally. She loves getting to know people at all stages of life and meets them where they are. This is a value she hopes to instill in her son, Ace.  Nance's primary love language is quality time. Her other love language is laughter.

Nance loves to travel. She dabbles in photography (an amateur), digital art, and baking.
